Once again, I am Shardul Marathe. Since this website is meant to showcase everything you can learn about me, here I am!

Multicultural
My curiosity to explore new cultures stems from a deep fascination with the stories, traditions, and philosophies that shape different parts of the world. My affinity for Chinese culture, for example, isn’t just about admiring its rich history—I love immersing myself in its practices, whether it’s learning the precise movements of Wushu Kung Fu or mastering the dynamic artistry of the Chinese Yo-Yo Diabolo. For me, each culture I explore opens a door to understanding new perspectives, teaching me not only about others but also about myself.

Academic
Academics are my top priority, and I approach them with focus and dedication. Whether conducting in-depth research for a speech on cultural appropriation, solving complex differential equations, or exploring color theories in AP Psychology, I am driven by a passion for learning. My study techniques include creating detailed outlines, using active recall for efficient memorization, and applying visual aids like mind maps to simplify complex concepts.

Teacher
I firmly believe in the quote, "Those who know, do. Those who understand, teach." This philosophy shapes my journey as both a learner and teacher. Through Golden State Academy, I mentor students in crafting engaging speeches, and at Dragon Rhythm Shaolin Kung Fu, I teach Kung Fu forms, instilling confidence, discipline, and cultural appreciation. I also share my passion for diverse cultures with friends and family, sparking curiosity and understanding. Whether through martial arts or public speaking, I am proud to make a meaningful impact on my community as a teacher.

Inquisitive
My inquisitive nature drives me to delve beyond surface-level understanding and question the core of everything I learn. I’m constantly asking "What if?" to explore new angles and dissect concepts, whether I’m unraveling the intricacies of Japanese culture, examining the foundations of American society, or experimenting with cookie recipes to grasp the science behind flavors and textures.
